Let’s see which jewel carrier you are most like!
How this works: I will give out questions and options for answers.
You will post your choices and I will go through them to see how you did. Then I will let you know. Note: I won’t post answers until after 4 people respond to my quiz

Question 1. You wake up in the middle of the night. Your heart is pounding, and you’re not sure why. A part of your body is tingling, and it’s not from nerves, or falling asleep on that body part. Which body part is tingling?
A: your skin, especially around your hands and arms.
B: your legs. You also feel like you could run a mile.
C: your fingers. You don’t know why, but you feel overheated too.
D: your heart is pounding through your chest, and there’s this loneliness that you have never felt before clawing through you.
E: you feel lightheaded, and you’re covered in sweat and dying of thirst.
F: your hands, especially your palms.
G: your eyes feel so, so sore.
Question 2. You hear your parents arguing with a stranger, so you go investigating. As you listen in on their conversation, what words stand out to you?
A: “There’s no way my daughter/son could have flown.”
B: “don’t worry, we’ll talk to her/him about the dangers of playing with electronics.”
C: “WHAT DO YOU MEAN, MY DAUGHTER/SON LIT A FOREST ON FIRE??!!?!!?”
D: “I know you mean well, but you don’t know my child the way I do. She’s/He’s still recovering from the loss of his/her father, just like I am.”
E: “I don’t know what your talking about and I won’t let you take my son/daughter away from me!”
F: “I don’t care. Never have, never will.”
G: “I’m sure it was a trick of the light or something…”
Question 3. You run up to your parents, asking questions. Their response is to push you behind them. What happens next?
A: your older sister takes your hand and brings you upstairs, then scurries around your room for a minute before scooping you up in her arms and climbing out the window and running down the street.
B: you get bored and start to head upstairs, but you freeze when your parents grab you by the shoulder and pull you back. But you get mad, and then you feel like you’re going to explode, and then the house is struck by lightning, and you’re flung into the front yard. A stranger grabs you as you’re falling unconscious…
C: you get scared, so you hug your mom from behind and start to shake. Just then the stranger grabs you from your mothers arms and throws you to someone else. As your mother’s screams fade into the distance, You realize what’s happening…a kidnapping!
D: your heart won’t stop pounding, so you massage your chest. The phone rings, so you go to answer it, but then you’re grabbed and thrown into a van alongside some other random kids like you. You’re confused and scared, so you curl up and start to cry as the van drives away from your house, and another kid—a nice, kind, and supcute boy/girl—gently rubs your back to calm you.
E: You begin to ask questions, but you’re suddenly knocked unconscious. You wake up in a van, scared, and you don’t know what’s happening. You can feel the water in the air, though—what a weird feeling.
F: all the houseplants begin to quiver as you notice your little sister begin to get scared. You carefully pick up your sister, take her upstairs, pack silently, and leave the house—only to get snatched up by a van.
G: the world seems too bright, and you squint to shield your eyes. However you are suddenly grabbed. You fight back, and somehow blind your attacker, but your knocked down and thrown into a van.
Question 4. Inside the van, you see other kids. Who do you talk to?
A: my sister. She is the only one who I can trust.
B: everyone and anyone. If we work together, we might be able to escape.
C: the nice shy kid in the corner that I’m sitting next to, who is tinkering with a strange little toy thing. He/She seems kind.
D: the gentle boy/girl who helped calm me down.
E: the kid looking around like he’s/she’s plotting to escape.
F: no one—I can’t trust anyone except myself and my sister, but I should make it clear that we are not to be messed with.
G: I’m not talking to anyone, I’m not taking chances.
Question 5. You stop at a boat dock. You and the other kids are ushered into the boat, and it speeds off until you arrive at a small island. Once you’re on dry land, you’re taken to a government science lab facility. What is your current emotion?
A: nerves. What’s happening? Will I be separated from my sister? How do I know what to do?
B: curiosity. As whacky as it is right now, it’s honestly kinda cool here.
C: annoyance. I can’t stand the people—or the plastic-y smell.
D: fear. I’ve always hated syringes, plus needles in general, so this is basically my ultimate nightmare.
E: interest. What is going to happen?
F: defiance. I will not be controlled or put into submission—or separated from my little sister.
G: pain. Everything is way, way too bright…
Question 6. You go inside the science lab and you are held still by a guard while a scientist holding a scalpel inserts something under your skin in your wrist. Then you and the other kids are ushered into a large cell-like chamber with bars for separation between the wall and the floor. What do you do?
A: hug my sister and thank the good Lord above that I wasn’t separated from her.
B: zip around, trying to find my way out of this darn cell.
C: get as close as possible to the air vent—I’m dying from the heat.
D: freak out and cry in the corner.
E: play with the water because that’s something I can do now, apparently.
F: hold my lil sis as long as I can.
G: try to sleep cuz I’m so gosh darn tired.
