Description

A teen finds himself hopelessly ensnared by the mysterious new girl at school in this classic Fear Street book from master of horror R.L. Stine.

The new girl is blond, pale as a ghost, and eerily beautiful. Cory Brooks hungers for Anna Corwin’s kisses, drowns in her light blue eyes. He can’t get her out of his mind. He’s been losing sleep and ditching his friends. Luckily, she seems to need him as much as he wants her.

Until Anna disappears from Shadyside High just as suddenly as she arrived. Now Cory has no relief from his consuming desire for Anna. His only option is to track her down where she lives on Fear Street.

Anna may be the love of Cory’s life…but finding out her secret might mean his death.

Here it is, the first book in R.L. Stine’s classic series! And it’s a great book, too! Stine really shows his ambition for trying to make Fear Street a really creepy and exciting series with strong descriptions, compelling characters, and clever plotting that includes some frightening and unexpected twists. If you want to read the first nightmare that gave readers a chance to explore Fear Street, say hi to The New Girl! Just don’t try to date her; she’s not feeling too lively!
