The battle for Scotland reaches its blood-soaked climax.
Having led one flank of the Scottish army to a spectacular victory at Bannockburn, James, the Black Douglas, has proven himself Scotland's most lethal weapon. King Robert the Bruce orders James to force England's complete surrender, and tasks him with a brutal new military campaign.
To secure a lasting peace for his war-torn homeland, he takes the fight directly to the enemy's doorstep. In a ruthless game of strategy and survival, James will deploy every ounce of his cunning to break King Edward's grip.
Not for Glory brings The Black Douglas Trilogy to a roaring finish, painting a vivid, historically accurate portrait of medieval warfare, loyalty, and the terrible cost of freedom.
