This ebook is an ELA Curriculum for grade 7 that contains two literature units of study. The first is a 5-week unit focusing on the study of science fiction. This unit includes stories by Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, and Ursula LeGuin—to name a few. The second unit of study is based on Walter Dean Myers’ 145th Street. Each unit includes video, explicit comprehension and vocabulary strategies, and opportunities to write in response to text.
