Deacon was too forceful

I usually love stories like this, but I was very disappointed with it. Throughout the whole book it felt like Deacon was sexually harassing Mia, which he was, and there was one part where it felt like he forced her into his bed. He was very manipulative. If you are looking for a story where the male protagonist is respectful and listens to a girl when she says no, this is not the book for you.
Love the story

I have a pattern in the kinds of books I read. This one is not it, but I loved it. I wish it would include an epilogue of their hea.

What an interesting book. Although this story irritated me quit a bit, it also held my interest the entire time I was reading it - sign of a good author! I don't know if I would of been able to trust Deacon either. This story is a roller coaster ride full of emotion, & had me thinking, a lot.
Eh.

The story is very plane. Model and a hot guy. They havent even begun dating and the guy is calling her wife material. Seems to move fast and the female lead is kind of a cry baby and very emotional.
Deacon and Mia truly explemplify the old phrase “Love Conquers All”!

You will be drawn into Deason and Mia’s world of love, lies, and the ability to get beyond all that stands in the way of their happily ever after. Cheryl Douglas has truly outdone herself with the Starkis Family Series and I am excited to see what is to come for the rest of the family. Pre-order or purchase Deacon and let yourself escape into the Starkis world. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Until Book Two…Smiles, CD
