I waited way too long to read this. Red rising always had my eye. I always thought it would be to ya for me. There are shades of ya but Darrow and all of these characters make it such a blast. I devoured this book. Don’t sleep on it. 5/5 chefs kiss

Binged it in one day. Unforgettable characters, amazing story. I will be buying all the books for my collection. Well worth a second or third read.

This book was amazing! I haven’t read a book like this in a very long time. Chapter after chapter I could not stop I started this book and finished the third in 1 week. I didn’t sleep well most nights because I had to read one more chapter!

But an incredible different story. Great book.

The world building, character development; and overall story is amazing. The one downside of this book was the pacing of the third part of this book was super annoying and slow to read. But once you get to part IV you can’t put it down. Overall 8/10 book would recommend to intermediate level Sci Fi readers!

Started out pretty engaging, was able to look past the story’s flaws. But then it changed into something completely different and it loses me. The world building gets too much too quickly. DNF at 38%

I was always an avid reader and had fallen into a bit of a reading slump over the past few years. This book series changed that I could not put it down. Will now be one of my favorite worlds ever built. I’m making my partner read it now because I told him this book will be on my mind for the rest of my life. Highly recommend.

This is the first book I’ve read in at least a decade, and it’s been a very welcome change from TikTok or social media. If you’re looking to get back into reading pick this mf up, I’m 28 years old and a heavy equipment mechanic, most people don’t exactly look at me and think “oh yeah that dude reads books in his free time” so if you’re like me, and you wanna branch out of your comfort zone and try something new, grab this one for sure. It’ll grab you right back.
