When I started this book I wasn’t sure if I could keep the characters and/or the timelines straight. But as I read I found that I could not put it down! Excellent character development, riveting storyline, worth every minute!

Had a blast reading this, to the point where every extra second I had I would open this app up to read. Great characters, great location (I am somewhat from this area), fantastic mystery. Though it feels open ended with the ending, it felt like I couldn’t wait to find out what happens.

The storyline was good, but the ending made me feel like “that’s it?!”

If you want to fall into an immersive story then this is it. The characters are so well-developed and the writing is incredibly suspenseful. I never knew what was coming next! The end is slightly abrupt but not at all bad, I think I would dislike any ending because I never wanted to put this book down.

Unfortunately women like Alice were far too many in the 60s and 70s. Fortunately women like Judy existed too.

Page Turner, had good characters and the setting was amazing but the end fell a little flat. I think it could have come together more. I was looking to see Alice snap out of it and search for her daughter, and to stand up to Peter.

A wonderful read, loved it.

From the very beginning I was captured by her writing and the tenseness of the story. Introduction of new characters was just right and unnerving.

Bored with book si had been reading, I grabbed this looking foe a good suspenseful mystery. This was perfect. I loved the storyline and enjoyed every plot twist and written word until the end.
