Incredibly disappointed. Almost the entire book has nothing to do with current events. They don’t even finish the fight in the holy city. Not only that but there are chapters of history between parts of the battle. It feels like this volume was a money grab made with 85% filler.

We get a glimpse into the history of the main characters sword.Sadly we don’t get romance in this however the writing and tension between man vs world shows the prowess of the author isn’t to be underestimated.
