My favorite read ever. It evoked a burning fire in my to chase my dreams and rebel a little. It was written so beautifully I'm so sad there is not a sequel.

Adorable story that shows the ties to hypocrisy and how rising above it can bring pure joy to one’s life. How rumors and misinformation can truly tarnish an undeserving life. Fear is the start of original sin, while conversations and getting to know can be the solutions.

I loved it! There are a lot of characters to keep track of and the prose can be a bit wordy at times. But The author absolutely paints the pages with stunning imagery.

Beauty is in the person not on the outside for the world to see. True love sees with the heart

A delightful read for those who love happiness

I really loved this book, though it was different from most other genres I read. It made me laugh and really feel for the characters. I think it would make a great movie, with the dinner scene a highlight!

What a great read! I felt so sorry for the character Vallancy. Her home life was depressing. No one took notice of her, not even on her birthday. They were only consumed with themselves and sought to use , boss and undermine her. I felt myself cheering for her when she decided to change her circumstances due to a doctor’s diagnosis. You will enjoy her adventures, her new friends, her love interest and new home. Couldn’t put this story down. Read it in two days!

The book started out boring and it wasn’t until the main character decided to change that I became interested. I realized soon that the author had to expose the life for what it was in order to make her point. The language is lyrical at times and you feel the cadence of the language. I am sorry I have to say goodbye to Valancy.

This book was well written and extremely moving
