Likeable characters. An enjoyable read, spicy, and gets you interested to read about the other characters in the next books. I will be reading the rest in the series.

I really liked this book. I’ve been in a reading slump for a while now and I needed something to get me back into the mood for reading. I didn’t want anything too adventurous. Something calm, and safe. That is what this book is. It’s great because it’s not too much. It’s just enough. This book is great if you want a simple romance book and want to get away from detailed fantasy books.

Cute story! Ending slides into the second book without leaving a cliffhanger for the first. However I wouldn’t mind having more of an ‘ending’ for Charlie.

Predictable, some grammar issues but overall cute tale

Not the best. Kinda just rushed but that’s what all the books on here are like. it’s a kinda good book. No character development. Just romance. Steamy tho. Anyways you can read it if you’re bored.

Fun and witty

This book was started and finished in one sitting! I loved the plot line and how Charlie and Bennett grew together. It was certainly a spicy read, but it also had its cute moments that made me smile. I really appreciated how Stevens was able to transport us to certain scenes due to her imagery. I also thought that the character development was quite strong as well, since we see both Charlie and Bennett go through self-reflection periods and adjust their behavior because of it. I read this since I want to be a part of her ARC squad, and I am so grateful that I picked this! There are more to this series that I am ready to dive into! Would totally recommend to anyone who is into the spicy romantic enemies to lovers trope!

Slayed
