Took sometime to get through the Victorian English. But it was a fun read even though the story was well known. Dickens doesn’t disappoint

You know the story. Miser is visited by three sprits and repents his ways. But the original text has some beautiful details and language that modern adaptations miss. The stave containing the future drags a little. Otherwise, a classic story everyone should read.

A great tale! Many areas were difficult to read, but the social commentary and moral warnings ring true for many. At any rate, I loved the witty humor and sarcasm, and the redemptive arc. And who doesn’t have a soft spot for dear Tiny Tim?! A great classic to read during the holiday season.

A warm Christmas story. Just long enough to keep one busy for a couple of hours; not long enough to bore one. I'll be reading this to my kids one day.
