One word: Incredible. I must have cried and laughed out loud with every essay. Definitely worth the money.

A great book for quotes and motivation. It is great to have because you can relate to all these really successful people's previous failures, doubts and apprehension about their careers/lives. Diverse and anyone from any career can relate. A good reference to have on hand if you are in a career where you motivate people or need constant motivation.

I have always been an admirer of Katie Couric, so when I saw this title, it called my attention. The Best Advice I Ever Got, coming from Katie, it must include a lot of good advice. I downloaded it and after reading a few pages, I thought of my son. He finished law school just a couple of years ago, and being the job situation the way it is, he hasn't been able to find a steady job yet. He is extremely worried and I'm always trying to make him feel better, more confident that something will work out soon. I ordered a copy for him, I read so many good points coming from different people in different paths of life. Different opinions on how to work your life!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but there is a wealth of poignant wisdom. I think it shows how no matter race, age, class, education, ethnicity, that we are all interconnected. I will reference this book in the future I am sure. I love the last essay by the 17 year old on dying...yet living.

This a wonderful book! Great read! Buying a dozen copies today as gifts to people I care for.
