Stilted writing. Ridiculous plot. Don’t waste your time.

Simply enjoyable. No traffic much more to say.

This novel offered a break from the heavier police and detective novels I read. Interesting plot but the characters’ actions are somewhat unbelievable. It was hard to empathize with the protagonist, Agnes Lockwood, who came across as bossy and obstinate. This isn’t a series I’d continue reading.

I thought it was great the way the old friends met up and ended up solving a crime together and really getting along so well.

This book was the first one I picked up on a suggestion list and it got me back into reading. The pace, plot, and characters sucked me in and I remember how much I love and enjoy reading. Just purchased the next book in the series and can’t wait to read it.
