  • One of the worst books I’ve ever read

What a huge disappointment this book is. Overwrought, melodramatic, implausible, not a single likable character, leaden prose and a boring, predictable story — despite its zigzagging plotting. I hated it. Riley Sager is usually much better than this dreck.

Such a great book. I’m usually really good at figuring out how a book is going to end but this one was a total surprise. It was a welcome change even if my sleuthing pride took a small hit. Definitely worth a read.
  • Loved it!

Rolling in stupidity. Slowest start to a fast, downward spiral into a bad twist
  • Kept me interested. I didn’t enjoy as much as the only one left, but it was still great!

Good characters. The ending definitely wasn’t what I expected. His books never disappoint.

Didnt care for this book at all. It was predictable and slow moving.

I’ve read 4 of Riley Sager’s books so far and this by far is the most riveting of them all. I flew through this one. Highly recommend!

This was a difficult book to put down after the 60 percent point. I highly recommend this book.

I had my suspicions early on but I very much enjoyed the surprises this story ultimately takes you on. Watching the pieces come together was nothing short of fascinating. Well done!
